Elizabeth Cooper, owner of Knight Design (Interiors) Ltd and Décor & Plume, is a versatile fresh designer with a passion for every style of interior.
Having worked with a national house builder renowned for the restoration and conversion of exceptional historic properties, Elizabeth’s attention to detail has enhanced a wide portfolio of contemporary and traditional interiors. Her appointments have included rural barn conversions, new build family show homes, city town houses, and cutting edge urban apartments.
Elizabeth has exhibited at The Daily Telegraph House & Garden Fair and began by designing her “New York” dining room in collaboration with KLC in 2001. Subsequent exhibition work has included set design for T. H. Bretton in 2002, and helping to create a dining room as part of the BIDA Show apartment in 2003.
Elizabeth specialises in combining current trends with hints of antiquity. By interpreting her client’s individuality and passionately applying creativity and style, Elizabeth has designed some truly inspiring interiors whilst considering practicality and longevity.
Elizabeth works closely with her clients to understand and exceed their expectations and believes in delivering a professional service with minimal disruption. Her aim is to share her enthusiasm and design expertise without being imposing. A complimentary consultation is available to each prospective client and services are tailored to suit individual budgets.
A comprehensive range of services are available throughout the design, project co-ordination, build and supply stages. Elizabeth employs highly experienced trades people who are skilled at curtain making, upholstery and bespoke furniture making. An extensive lighting, accessory, furniture, fabric and wallpaper library is available to view at her Stock showroom and individual orders are competitively priced.
Elizabeth Cooper trained at KLC School of Design, London. Awarded the Donghia Prize for Spatial Planning and Design, Elizabeth is an associate member of the BIDA.
